G8424 - Senior Permitting Consultant _-North West

WasteRecruit are working with a successful independent consultancy to source a senior environmental permitting consultant.

 

You will be working with an established successful team preparing regulatory applications to support the development of major waste management facilities including treatment plants, EfW and landfills.

 

Your day to day responsibilities will include the preparation of environmental permits and providing support on planning applications. Depending on your skills, experience and interests there will also be opportunities to work on a wide range of related technical, scientific, environmental or engineering subjects, including EIA studies, risk assessments, technical design, civils contract management, site investigations and contaminated land assessment.

 

The work is multidisciplinary and we will consider candidates from a wide variety of geo-environmental backgrounds.  Applicants should have a relevant first degree and preferably a higher degree along with a minimum of 7 years’ experience of waste regulation experience

 

You will ideally hold Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant scientific or engineering professional institution.

G8425 - Environmental Consultant (Waste Permitting) - North West

G8360 - Senior Ecologist

EnviRecruit are working with a well-established and reputable consultancy to source a Senior Ecologist in Essex.

In this role you will work to deliver a range of projects across a wide variety of sectors including; utilities companies, house builders and local authorities.

You will deliver of a range of ecological surveys and mitigation including: Phase 1 Habitat Assessment, Protected Species Surveys and applying for and implementing European Protected Species Mitigation Licences.

To be considered for this role you must hold a degree in a relevant discipline and hold a Level 2 Bat Survey Licence.

Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and good communication skills will be crucial

A full UK driving licence is essential.
